The Final Stretch... - July 15, 2009

Hey everyone,

We've been listening to the final mixes of our new record for the past few weeks, and words cannot express how proud and excited we are about it.

Along with the four core members of Columbia Fields, this record features Alan Veniscofsky of Rane on electric guitar. Alan's played a few shows with us over past few months and his unique brand of atmospheric lead guitar playing has really broadened our sound. Alan will be sitting in with the band on select shows this year, so be sure to check us out to see the expanded CF lineup.

We're sending the CD out to get mastered, and then printed - stay tuned for more info on the CD release party.

Capitol Theater and 96.5 WTIC - October 1, 2007

This weekend was absolutely incredible.

For starters, two of our songs ("Trust" and "Wake Me Up") were played on Gary Craig's morning show on friday morning, and now, you can see video footage of our performance at the Capitol Theater on Gary Craig's website (www.garycraig.com). We'd like to thank Gary Craig for all of his support, and all of our fans who have been calling in requesting our music.

The show at the Capitol Theater went wonderfully. We'd like to thank Andy Gutt, the Windham Arts Collaborative, EastConn, the staff at the theater, our soundman Brenner, our video crew Max, Brett, Kyle and Kenny, Romar for making a killer magazine, Cassandra Kubinski, Calley McGrane, and everyone who came out to support us.

Thank you all so much!

Also, for those of you who like to be on the "cutting edge" of technology, our CD is now available on iTunes. Also, keep an eye out for the album on other Music sites like Rhapsody, Napster, and Verizon V-Cast.

We'll be back at Mohegan Sun on Aug. 15th for the second round of the Battle of the Bands. We had a blast during the first round, and we've got our fingers crossed that we'll be able to make it to the finals. Hope to see you there.
